The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Cane Tricked Phyllis Into Stealing “Fake” AI Program

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers show that worldwide icon Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has been had. Or has he?

Apparently his loose partnership with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has resulted in her stealing out from under him the one and only tool he had to wreak global domination—his predatory AI program.

But wait a minute—there are a few factors that could point to the latest plot twist in the never-ending saga as a big fake out. Keep reading to learn more about this soapy theory running rampant on socials.

Phyllis is Too Needy, Cane is Too Wily

Why do fans suspect that Cane has duped Phyllis? First of all she is needy, and secondly, he is sneaky. His ruse as Aristotle Dumas proves his ability to play the long game and his need to dominate.

Phyllis seemed poised to foil Cain and prove herself a hero by saving GC from his evil machinations. Now the tables are turned and she has benefited only herself by stealing the AI program and giving it to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Instead, Cane saw how thirsty Red is and set her up to be a fool when his underhanded plot is exposed—that sound about right?

Phyllis Thought She’d Be the Town Hero

Cane is too smart to get this far only for a half bit hacker to strike down his empire. We suspect he has the “real” AI program in hiding and used a fake one to see who he could trust. Obviously not Phyllis.

In this scenario he has Phyllis and Victor right where he wants them!

But why would he sacrifice his original plot to rule the world? Because he found himself in an unexpected situation when his family and GC turned against him.

Is Cane a Brilliant Mastermind?

Let’s face it, Phyllis went from not knowing anything about AI to stealing a masterful program that can ruin entire corporations. Cane is not stupid enough to let that happen.

Cane needs redemption and the best way to do that is disavow himself of the evil AI program and cast shade on Victor and Phyllis as the real evil doers.
