The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the viewers want Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to dump Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) as soon as possible. They dubbed them a boring couple, with no passion and as interesting as watching paint dry.

The Y&R viewers have had it with Adam and Chelsea. It started when they cheated on their partners while in Baltimore, dealing with their son, Connor Newman’s (Judah MacKey) mental health issues.

At the time, Adam was with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). He worked for many months after they broke up the first time to get her back. She turned to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for several months, until Adam stepped up and showed her how much she meant to him.

Chelsea, on the other hand, was with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). They had a healthy relationship that was built on a strong foundation of friendship.

Billy helped Chelsea when she had her suicidal episode. He was there for her and Connor in ways Adam wasn’t. But when Chelsea cheated on him with Adam, he couldn’t forgive her. Adam was the one guy he couldn’t look past.

Chelsea Lawson Brings Nothing To The Table

The Young and the Restless viewers say that Chelsea brings little drama and heat to the CBS soap opera. Every episode, she is seen talking to Adam about their son or their newest scheme. There is no drama to keep her interesting. More than that, they have no passion, making them a boring couple.

They Had Better Chemistry Elsewhere

The Young and the Restless fans believe that Chelsea had much better chemistry with Billy. They had heat and were cute together. There was always drama because Billy and Adam hate each other so intensely.

Adam and Sally were sizzling hot together. They had passionate love scenes, fought to be together, and had emotional scenes when they lost their baby, Ava.

Many viewers have expressed disappointment in the storyline when Adam forgot Ava’s birthday. That storyline was out of character for Adam and would likely never happen. It seemed to come out of left field and gave the fans a clue that the writers planned to break Sally and Adam up for a Chelsea reunion.

The Young and the Restless fans believe that Chelsea and Adam have lost their appeal and should break up. They think that they should be paired with other people to bring the drama back to the CBS soap opera.
