A new controversy is reportedly about Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. And, it concerns her early career. Allegedly, her legal team may send a cease and desist letter. Read on to find out more details.
Allegedly, rumors run around that nefarious things happened during Meghan’s time on Suits. On Friday, royal commentator Neil Sean discussed it on his Daily News Headlines vlog. He said that there are “rumors of stuff going missing and stock going out and things going missing off the set of Suits.”
Naturally, he noted that such rumors might create “very, very bad PR” for Meghan. Plus, he opined that rumors of missing items from the Suits set irritate her. Sean added that the duchess feels the claims are untrue. Notably, rumors about missing items circulated in the past.
Actually, the Suits production team hasn’t verified missing items. There are no on-record witnesses. In fact, Tom Bower’s book seemed to hint at those sort of claims. It alleged Meghan Markle got a reputation for not returning fashion pieces.
A lot of the time, these accounts are disputed and rely on unnamed sources. In the past, Meghan Markle only confirmed one detail. She kept the pencil skirt from her first Suits episode. But beyond that, there doesn’t seem to be evidence of a pattern of missing items.
So, probably, royal family fans should take the rumors with a pinch of salt. Nevertheless, Neil expanded on the allegations as he continued his vlog. The royal commentator also mentioned other problems regarding Meghan Markle.
Sean said that issues include “alleged bullying claims” and the “fact that she’s treated staff badly.” He described these problems as stories that “often come back to haunt Megan on a very much regular basis.”
Going further in his vlog, Sean also talked about Meghan’s trip to Paris. Like other reporters, he claimed Harry’s wife “wasn’t invited” but “shoehorned herself in.” The move, he opined, “really impacted badly on the brand” she visited.
Irritated, he opined that the former actress “turned it into all about herself.” So, the pattern of behavior, according to Sean, makes the drama show’s rumors more damaging.
Unfortunately, Neil believes that if Meghan Markle and her legal team jumped “on it quicker,” it might have brought less speculation. But, he feels that the delay and alleged threatened legal action won’t help the situation.
In the comments section, viewers weren’t kind about Prince Harry’s wife. One of them opined, “I really do hope one day mm files a ridiculous lawsuit, because that way all discovery will have to be made!”
Here are a few more responses from the discussion area:
