General Hospital Spoilers: Daniel Goddard Reunites With TV Mom
General Hospital spoiler reveal that Daniel Goddard made his big tv comeback earlier this year when he took the part of Professor Henry Dalton. However, Goddard previously played Cane Ashby on Y&R from 2007 to 2019.
One GH actress just happened to be his mother on the CBS soap opera before leaving the role.
Reunited And It Feels So Good
Daniel posted a photo of himself along side Genie Frances who has played Laura Collins for years. “Reunited and it feels so good,” Goddard posted. “Genie Francis — a true TV legend — was my TV mom on The Young and the Restless, and now I have the honor and fortune of working with her again on General Hospital. Only this time… maybe she’s my nemesis?” “What do you think — where’s this storyline headed?”
For those of you who don’t remember, Francis played, Genevieve Atkinson, on The Young And The Restless from 2011 – 2012. The late Tristan Rogers played his father, “Colin Atkinson on and off from 2010 to 2019. In fact, Rogers made a final appearance as Colin on August 26 following his death on August 15 of this year.”
It was a treat for Y&R fans to see Francis and Goddard together again. Will fans get to see these to character together on screen as he tries to figure out the new dymanic between them as they play different characters coming faced to face as new characters on a new show and set. What kind of new relationship might they develop on GH?
The WSB Has Been On Professor Dalton’s Tail
Could the Port Charles mayor actually be the person who will take down the professor and expose what he has been up to in that lab he has at the college? Perhaps Goddard is involved in work to get to the bottom of this AI program that he knows could really mess things up for the citizens of Port Charles.
Will Laura figure out that the WSB is keeping an eye on the professor and step in the check things out herself. After all, Laura tends to get involved in most things going on in Port Charles. Will Laura help to take the professor down and side with the WSB? could Laura prove that this guy isn’t nearly as bad as they think?
How will this new relationship with Goddard and Francis’ characters end? Would you like to see them work together as parents again or do they have the same dynamic as adversaries? Whatever the case, it seems that these two actors are thrilled to be back on the same set no matter which side of the line they are on.
