Days of our Lives Spoilers: A Very Happy Ending
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) quest to become parents reaches its happy conclusion this week when the young couple is informed that they were approved to adopt little baby Tesoro.
Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) are crushed to give the baby up, but they knew this day would come. They are thrilled that Johnny and Chanel are Tesoro’s adoptive parents after all.
Johnny and Chanel take their new son home to a celebration arranged by the grandmothers. That’s where they tell the family what they have named their son. Tesoro will now be known as Tre DiMera, meaning the third, as in John III.
What they don’t realize is that Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) is torn up after having given up his parental rights. Will this cause a problem for Johnny and Chanel later on?
Rachel Causes Chaos
Scheming Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) thinks she is helping Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) when they scheme to use the pumpkin catapult to launch one at Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord). Instead, the pumpkin gets Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), which sends Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) running to his rescue.
Stephanie also has an encounter with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), who warns her that her new book might be prescient. She can sense something dark and dangerous coming and Susan is often right.
When Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) realizes what Thomas has done, he takes him to task, which doesn’t with well with Thomas. He accuses his father of only caring about Cat before he runs off.
Unfortunately, Thomas runs off in front of oncoming traffic and we hear a car screech. Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) is right there as she and Chad are horrified when they realize what could have happened to Thomas. Will this be a moment of reckoning for both Chad and Cat, as well as for Rachel? Will this trigger any memories for the little girl?
