Is her pregnancy controversial? Yes. Is she a troubled young convict who has no business being a mom given her history? Again, yes.
But hear us out, because there are several upsides to Luna and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) conceiving a baby together. Here are three reasons why Luna having a baby could be the best thing to happen for several characters.
1. Luna’s Baby Brings Bill and Katie Together
Rumors that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) reunite during this fraught time ramped up as soon as they discovered what Luna did to their son.
They immediately came together to shield Will from nasty Luna and it looks like they remain united in defense of their son.
This is a couple that belong together. They are co-parents and have a wonderful history notwithstanding her sister Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) meddling.
If a Spencer grandchild brings back Batie, we’re all for it!
2. Luna’s Pregnancy Tests Electra and Will
Will and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) had a fairytale romance before Luna intervened. They are mad about each other but what better way to prove their love than to overcome a significant hurdle together?
If Wilectra are meant to be together this situation will test their love before it gets too complicated. Wouldn’t you rather know sooner rather than later if someone is Mr. Wrong and not Mr. Right?
3. Luna’s Redemption Arc
Luna is a divisive character. She is a murderer and she assaulted Will. She is also a compelling character who can drive story. But given her history, can she be redeemed?
Absolutely yes she can be redeemed, and her having a baby gives her a chance to show she can be a good person by showing that she’s a good mother.
