The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Carter’s Motives Under Fire, Is He Becoming An Opportunist?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint Victor) might be an opportunist of sorts.

While there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that he does love Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), it seems like he’s also using her reinstated Hope For The Future fashion line to also push their “quickie” wedding to happen sooner rather than later.

Is Carter Being An Opportunist?

A lot of fans think it was quite unfair when Carter kept talking about wanting to get married almost immediately while Hope was processing the news that she was getting her fashion line back. This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder: is Carter an opportunist?

Of course, B&B fans fans had a lot to say about where this storyline is potentially going.

Some even commented with, “Anytime someone uses marriage as a ticking time bomb on this show, you already know it’s not going to happen.”

“I don’t really care for Carter/Hope that much but it kind of sucks that they don’t even bother humoring new couples. Like damn, in the past they would at least let people actually get married and it lasted a couple of months or a couple of seasons.”

Another critic of the show wrote, “I don’t know why so many people on this show think that immediately getting married is gonna solve all your problems. As if people don’t cheat and get divorced left and right on this show.”

“We saw the same thing with Taylor when she proposed to Ridge and immediately pushed him on setting a date because she thought it would save their relationship.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I’m sick of these characters pushing for a quick wedding. It’s overused. If someone is trying to rush you to the alter, that is a huge red flag.”

“Please, great and powerful soap gods, I beg you. No more Carter and Hope. There is just no chemistry. Zero.”
