General Hospital Star Scarlett Spears (Donna Corinthos) Joins The Cast Of “Wicked”

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Donna Corinthos may have a mob boss for a dad; however, the little girl is one of the sweetest kids in Port Charles.

This doesn’t make it overly shocking that her portrayer, Scarlett Spears, is slated to play a “good witch” role in the next installment of “Wicked”, set to be released later this year.

The young actress’s Instagram is run by her parents, and they revealed some big news: that Scarlett has been cast as Young Glinda in Wicked: For Good. The film will hit theaters on Friday, November 21.

 The IG post had an uploaded shot of Scarlett as Young Glinda, opposite Arianna Grande, who plays the adult version of Glinda in the franchise. Included in the IG post was the trailer for the new movie. The caption read:

“We’ve been keeping a WICKED secret!!!!! ✨ Introducing Scarlett Spears as Young Glinda ✨ Wicked: Part Two will hit theaters on November 21, 2025.”

Grande hopped on IG and offered the following comment to Spears: “My tiny girl in the bubble, played by the wonderful and talented @miss.scarlett.brielle  thank you for your beautiful work and for allowing the world to understand our Glinda more deeply than ever before.. ♡ I adore you so.”

In addition, Spears’ GH co-stars entered the comment section, with her onscreen big brother, Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos), adding three handclap emojis, as well as Jacqueline Grace Lopez (former Blaze) writing, “Gaah! Congrats Scarlett!!!”

Spears plays Glinda during her younger years, which will add a new layer to the Wicked character’s story, and offer insight on how the Good Witch came to be. This is a huge project for the little actress.

The movie stars Grande, along with Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, and the sequel to Wicked goes deeper into the emotional and political repercussions of each of the lead characters when it comes to choices in Oz.
