General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Rage at Jack & Joss Gives Way to Regret For How She Treated Monica?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finally discovered that her daughter Joss Jacks (Eden McCoy) is working undercover for the WSB.
This is not a safe nor sane job, and Joss’s life has already been endangered just months into the job.
Carly hit the roof when she found out and took drastic action to get back at Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) who recruited Joss. But amid all of her sound and fury, will Carly also learn a very important life lesson?
Caroline Spencer Wants Revenge On Jack Brennan
Behind Carly’s (Laura Wright) back, Joss went to Croatia on secret assignment with veteran agent Vaughn (Bryce Dufree) and nearly got herself killed. This is not the kind of job that any mother wants for her daughter.
Carly could not comprehend why Joss would turn to spy life. She’s spent half her life railing at her former stepdad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for being a ruthless mob boss. It doesn’t track that she would enter a similarly violent field.
But a long past incident that is eerily similar to her current situation could serve to open Carly’s eyes to the pain she caused Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson).

Will Carly Get a Clue?
Carly’s bestie Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) basically did the same thing 30 years ago when he turned away from his cushy elite life as Monica’s son and became Sonny Corinthos’ mob enforcer.
Monica was beside herself. She watched as her pre-med son was about to follow in her footsteps only to turn his back on the family to become a killer gangster.
There is one difference between Joss and Jason however. Jason suffered CTE and had amnesia after a car accident. Afterward his family was smothering and scaring him so he accepted Sonny’s offer to work for him. Monica was left devastated, as Carly is now.
Monica and Carly Have Something in Common
At the time, Carly enabled Jason in turning his back on his family. She also kept her son Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) from the Quartermaines despite his father being a Q.
So, now that history is repeating itself somewhat, will Carly finally realize how awful it was for Monica to go through the loss of her child to a world of violence?
Carly has an insight every now and then. If she is able to comprehend Monica’s devastation, it will be too late to tell her or apologize.
But it’s not too late for Carly to become a better person. Tell us GH fans, do you think that Carly will become more compassionate after losing her daughter to the WSB?

[…] We know that Michael was at the scene of the crime the night Drew was shot. We know Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) spotted him there, but we also know she initially thought he shot Drew, which likely means she definitely didn’t do it. […]
Suggesting this will lead to a kinder gentler Carly? I HOPE NOT!
