Days Of our Lives Spoilers: JJ Opens Up To Jada About Theo-Will She Believe Him?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will open up to Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) about Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews). Will Jada believe JJ, and try to make peace between him and JJ?

Theo Has Accused JJ Of Profiling  When He Shot Him In 2017

Theo has been away from Salem for several years, only returning briefly when his father Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was being held captive by that crazy cat lady nurse! Now Theo has returned, accusing JJ of racial profiling when he shot him in 2017, which was accidental on JJ’s part-but previously, all had been forgiven! Jada wasn’t in Salem when the shooting happened, and knows nothing about the real story.

JJ can’t understand why Theo’s coming back so many years later and wanting Jada to fire him! When it first happened, JJ was so upset with himself he’d even become suicidal for making the mistake, which could have happened to anyone.

Here’s How The Shooting Happened In 2017

The incident occurred in 2017 when Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) urged Theo (then portrayed by Kyler Pettis) to assist her in uncovering who was hacking DiMera Enterprises.

He agreed with reluctance, tracked the hacker to an office building, and with Kate’s eventual approval, attempted to break in to identify the culprit. An alarm sounded, and as Theo tried to escape, JJ, noticing someone in a hoodie fleeing the scene, shot him.

Theo fell into a coma for a month and later awoke to discover he was paralyzed, and he traveled to South Africa for rehabilitation.

JJ Was Eaten Up With Guilt Over Shooting Theo

JJ stated he could no longer trust his own judgment and resigned from the police force, opting to become an EMT instead-this burden weighed heavily on him, leading him to attempt suicide.

In time, Theo forgave him, and they moved forward, restoring harmony in their lives. In fact, just a couple of years later, they became roommates offscreen and developed a close friendship!

So this sudden turnaround on Theo’s part makes no sense to JJ, after they had previously made up and became friends, and even roommates! But can he get Jada to believe him, since Theo won’t even talk to him now?

JJ Gives Jada Some Proof Of His And Theo’s Former Friendship-He Knows Something’s Wrong

JJ goes through his personal files and finds proof in the form of the lease to the apartment where he and Theo lived, along with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant).

He also has some photos of the three together, in happier times-but the dates show after the shooting incident. Jada does listen to JJ, and takes the lease and the photos into consideration.

She decides that she needs to bring Abe in on the situation, and maybe together, they can make some sense of it.

For the time being, Jada diffuses the tension filled situation by giving JJ some time off until they can figure out why the change in Theo.
