General Hospital Spoilers: Is It Time To Recast Trina Robinson?

General Hospital news spoilers suggest this might be a very controversial question, but also once that definitely needs to be brought up.
Is It Time To Recast Trina Robinson?
A lot of people can’t help but wonder if it might be time to recast Trina Spencer (Tabyana Ali).
That’s because they’ve noticed that the character really isn’t making much progress in the chemistry department. And no, we are not talking about her college grades.
It seems as though she’s stuck in her “good girl” role which a lot of people think it might be time to step out of.
Of course, General Hospital fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Once baby Ace showed up, Trina was dutiful and quiet and stayed in her place, for the most part. Being respectful is one thing, but she was basically a side character in what should and could have been an epic young love story.”
“But Sprina, in my opinion, never developed. Not on screen anyway. I love TA, but SM had more chemistry with NAC.”
Another critic wrote, “Trina is treading into Elizabeth Webber territory with love interests.”

“I loved when she sent Kai packing, but recent developments make me think she’s just going to be a wimping, grateful fool at the end of the day, appreciative to the big strong man looking out for her. No thanks.”
General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Trina?
And then there was this comment as well: “IMO, it’s hard to write for the recast Trina, because she really can’t act and does not have chem with anyone. They also infantilize her by having Portia being a helicopter parent and always calling her a baby, but she acts like a baby too.”
“She is unlikeable to me because she was pretty cold to Rory and her father, the man who raised her, Taggart.”
GH fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

I feel GH did a bad job of recasting the Trina character. No disrespect to the actress whom I like, but she just does not present as a person of her stated age. TA does not present the maturity needed for the role, as the same which occurred with the former actor who portrayed Spencer was replaced with NC for the same reasoning. Don’t know if a recast of the character is needed depends on what road writers will take for the character in the future.
Recast Trina, Portia and please put Drew in congress questioning his loyalty to America because he is a criminal-let the $1m receit giving Judge Heran money as a reason to commit Murder! Maybe recast him he has left a really bad taste in my mouth: I reiterate: RECAST TRINA & Portia, neither one has any chemistry with the entire cast. Oh also Alexis she is far to political-act, don’t advocate for ungodly personal feelings…Bring Jax back he voiced his opinion about transgenders. Not enough of a reason to let him go. But you keep Alexis? She should have become the politician with her warped perception of the majority of viewers. These 3 have to be recast-I liked Nancy Lee but she is a nasty one sided view regarding her co-cast actors… Bring Ingo Radamaker back, and excellent, quality actor… Producers get a grip, very, very few viewers like her annal opinions. Let her have a massive heart atack!!! NOW. I have lost my appreciation for her performance
Recast Trina, Portia, no chemistry with any of the cast. and Alexis. She lost her chemistry with the cast as well.
I personally like Tabyana Ali!! For those of you who think a recast should be had, why? This is the script given to her so if they were to recast what difference would there be? The script would still be the same! It would only be a new face same script nothing different!
Maybe the writers need to amp up her story line!!
I say leave her be!
