General Hospital Spoilers: A Second Attempt On His Life Has Repercussions For Drew
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is still in GH recovering from being shot twice, but all signs point to Drew making a full recovery.
Many GH fans are wondering why Drew did not have any setbacks as a result of being shot. It could be that there is a second attempt on his life coming that could have lasting repercussions for the dastardly Drew.
Drew Cain Is Released From The Hospital
Drew will soon be released from the hospital, and head home after the police have finished collecting all the evidence. Drew would feel strange being back there because the last time he was there, he was shot.
Drew would call Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and ask her to come and look in on him, and he would agree. Meanwhile, Willow would hesitate on her way to go and see Drew. But she would believe that the best way to get her kids back is to keep up this ruse.
Drew Cain Starts To Feel Strange And Feels Fatigued
After getting released from the hospital, Drew would realize that he is feeling off. He would chalk it off as still being on the mend, and Willow would tell him that he should go to bed and get some rest.
The next day, Drew is still feeling fatigued, and very weak and tired. Willow would tell him that she will make sure that she nurses him back to health. Drew is pleased that Willow is there to take care of him. But could Willow be plotting something?
Drew Cain Collapses
After several days of feeling fatigued and weak, Drew finally gives it to something that is ailing him and collapses. Perhaps Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) finds him on the floor at his house, and calls 911.
An ambulance takes Drew in, and Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) examine Drew, and are unable to determine a cause for his condition. His wounds are healing, and he has no internal bleeding, so the doctors are stomped with what is wrong with him.
Drew Cain Continues To Get Worse And Lucas Jones Makes A Discovery
As Drew’s condition continues to get worse, the doctors at GH are still trying to determine what is ailing him. Lucas notices an abnormality in his bloodstream, and determines that Drew has been poisoned. It seems as though he has been continuously poisoned, and it probably started while he was in the hospital.
The doctors would not have been able to see it at first, and now treatment will be difficult as the poison has affected his entire body, and could have lasting repercussions for Drew. Who is responsible for poisoning Drew? Is it the same person who shot him?
