As many General Hospital fans are aware of by now, Maurice has been doing his YouTube show, State of Mind, for the past five years now.
And while he’s managed to sit down with some of the biggest stars in the daytime television industry, that seems to be it.
For someone like Maurice, that has to be frustrating. He hasn’t managed to sit down with anyone that isn’t already familiar to the soap opera world and its fans.
Not only that, but there was also some speculation suggesting Maurice was looking to leave General Hospital and start a daytime talk show of his own. That’s because he’s always wanted to have a platform where he can talk about mental health issues. But clearly, that hasn’t happened, either.
What’s Next For Maurice Benard?
That’s why there’s heavy speculation suggesting that Maurice is feeling frustrated on his end and that’s mostly because State of Mind doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
There are only so many times that you can talk to your General Hospital co-stars about their past before the topic gets redundant, right?
Now, whether or not Maurice will manage to make the jump from soap star to talk show host remains to be seen, but a lot of people believe that it would have happened already for him. Not even ABC seems to be interested.
So far Maurice himself has not made any comments about the speculation on his end just yet. Watch this space for more.
