Days of our Lives spoilers for August 4-8, 2025, tease Sami making her way back to Salem as Johnny’s trial heats up.

Sami’s Big Comeback, Belle’s Devastation

Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) trial is in full swing this week, just as his mother returns to Salem. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is thrilled to have one daughter back, but her other daughter has to deal with EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) in court.

EJ surprises all when he announces that Belle Black (Martha Madison) has a conflict of interest and asks for a mistrial.

Isn’t EJ’s conflict even greater, considering he is defending his son and was the victim of this attempted murder crime? What is EJ really up to and how will Belle react when EJ shocks her in front of the judge and jury?

With Sami around, Johnny is well protected, but Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry) may make an enemy of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) when she reluctantly testifies that Johnny claimed EJ got what he deserved after he was shot.

Strange Bedfellows

Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) is also back in Salem this week and is surprised to learn that Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) insists that Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) is alive. Tony DiMera is not sure he believes it, but he is more concerned about Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) doing her job.

That is just what Gabi does at The Bistro when she pulls Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) in for a kiss.

She and Xander have been growing closer, so Gabi uses this to her advantage in her quest to help the DiMera clan get their company back.

However, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) walk in on this kiss and Sarah can’t believe her eyes.

To make Xander jealous and show that two can play at that game, Sarah pulls Brady in for a kiss. Xander’s eyes seem to pop out of his head. Can he top Sarah?

Or, will these two both stop being so petty and admit that they still love one another before it’s too late? We guess they can just get married again, something they seem to do often.
