Days of our Lives Weekly Spoilers: The Jury Reaches a Verdict, Xander’s Secrets

Days of our Lives weekly spoilers for August 18-22, 2025, tease a big courtroom surprise and a big corporate war revenge plot.

Who Dunnit?

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) may have fired EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) as his attorney, but that doesn’t mean EJ doesn’t show up in court anyway. Johnny makes it clear that he was very serious when he told his father he no longer wanted him to defend him. EJ starts thinking about all he has done during this trial and the many lives he has altered.

However, things go a little haywire in court when Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) finally delivers her testimony. The situation gets so intense that the judge has Kristen hauled away. What truths are revealed, and do they have anything to do with Kristen’s daughter, Rachel Black (Alice Halsey)?

When everyone ends up back at the DiMera mansion, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) gets a text that the verdict is in. Everyone returns to court and braces themselves to hear what the jury decides. Will Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) turn the jury deliberations into a circus? Maybe he will even cause a hung jury.

DiMera Vs. Kiriakis

The war between Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and the DiMera clan heats up this week when Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) discovers that her father is investigating Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) family. Stephanie sees that as some sort of betrayal or conflict of interest, but Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) doesn’t agree. In fact, he wants his Little Sweetness to know some things about her boyfriend.

Alex talks over this investigation with Xander and asks his cousin what he is really hiding. There has to be a reason that Xander is so nervous about whoever is investigating him. Is this about the custody fight or did Xander do something completely illegal to get his hands on DiMera Enterprises?

Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) meet again at the mansion. Tony assures Gabi that she can become the new DiMera CEO if she just gets the dirt on Xander that he needs to get the family company back.
