The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Revealed Mariah Dark Secret– Will Her Crime Cost Her Everything?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that we finally know what happened between Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and the older stranger (Michael Swan) in the hotel room. Until Tuesday, July 8, episode, it was somewhat of a mystery.

Sure, we had clues. For example, Mariah clutched the throw pillow as she burst into tears. But no one pieced together how it related to Marriah’s dark secret. But now, we know. And, Mariah is in deep trouble.

Mariah’s Crime

The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Mariah went on a business trip. It was there that she met an older stranger. They had a good time talking, as they enjoyed a few drinks. Eventually, Mariah invites the man to her hotel room.

The details of what led to the murder are hazy. Mariah snaps, potentially hallucinating the man was Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and smothered him with a pillow. Ashamed of her action, she swore to never tell anyone what happened, not even her wife, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).

Mariah’s emotions have been all over the place since returning from her business trip. She has been distant with her wife and her mother, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Y&R spoilers say that Tessa knows something is going on with Mariah, but she cannot figure what could happen, that is this bad. Mariah has never needed space from her or their daughter.

Mariah’s Life Turned Upside Down

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Mariah refuses to open up to Tessa. All her wife wants is to know what’s on her mind so they can face it together. Mariah doesn’t want to burden Tessa, promising she will handle it, and they can be a family again.

However, Tessa isn’t so sure. If Mariah doesn’t come clean with her, she thinks their separation should be permanent.

Eventually, the local police will track Mariah down. She will have to answer what happened in the hotel room. Someone died, and Mariah knows the details of his last moments.
Sharon Rushes To Help Her Daughter

Sharon will learn her daughter’s secret in due time. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sharon will urge Mariah to fight the charges and not accept a guilty plea. She may remind her about her own murder trial. She was innocent and fought the charges because of her family’s support.

Sharon could get her a good attorney, probably Micharl Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). He likely will come up with a PTSD defense, explaining the trauma Ian inflicted caused Mariah to snap.
