The Young and the Restless Spoilers: New Promo Teases Murder, Mayhem, And A Long List Of Suspects

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a murder mystery is on the way on the CBS soap opera. With July sweeps kicking off with a bang, this storyline will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has Genoa City’s elite, or most of them, trapped in NICE. They have no phone service and cannot alert anyone on the outside to what is going on.

Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Winters (Melissa Ordway) remain nervous about what Cane/Artistole Dumas has planned for everyone.

Adam Pieces The Dumas Conspiracy Together

Y&R spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) believes that Dumas is Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). He’s sure that Colin would help his son Cane con GC and make a plan to win Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) over.

We know that Adam is wrong— Colin passed away suddenly, and Dumas is actually Cane. It won’t take Adam long to figure it out, especially when he shares his thoughts with his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

To save everyone from Cane’s evil plot (or Dumas’ plot), Adam heads to NICE. With everyone trapped inside the property and without cell service, will Adam be able to get inside? That is the question. Let’s examine what the promo revealed so far.

The Promo Lacks Answers

In The Young and the Restless promo, a man holding a knife shocks the guest, particularly Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Jack’s jaw drops as he gasps. Other guests run as they look for an exit in the confusing maze.

The spoilers suggest that a murder mystery is underway. We don’t know the identity of the murder victim, but the promo reveals there will be many suspects.

The top of the list of people on the murder suspect list is probably Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). He touched the knife on the train, getting his fingerprints on the weapon. The person holding the knife in the promo had on black sleek gloves.

An unidentified voice tells Cane, “I know how ruthless you can be.” Cane slams his hands on the table, seemingly upset that things aren’t going his way.

Who Will Die?

We don’t know who will find their end, but the spoilers suggest it could be a major character. The Young and the Restless aims for July sweeps to be one to remember, and the only way for that to happen is to kill off a major character and set the stage for a murder mystery.
