The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Forges Alliance With Nick – Brooke And Ridge Remain Split
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) made a tactical decision. The proposal she made to Nick Marone (Jack Wagner), Taylor and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) have been married to, is smart.
Taylor’s suggestion that Nick keep pushing for Brooke makes sense. Budig’s character knows Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is ever vulnerable to Brooke. He’s married her an unfathomable eight times, with one of many reaction adjectives, dysfunctional, being script-worthy.
Nick is smug. But he also knows that Ridge’s choice of Taylor creates an opening, and he intends to exploit that in Italy.
The Jack Marone Factor Revives
Brooke had a child with Nick in 2007. Taylor served as a surrogate. That happened because Brooke’s egg was unknowingly used with a heavy dose of soap implanted into the storyline.
Jack Marone (last played by Frank and Morgan Gingerich in 2011) is approximately eighteen in soap-time and real-time, which would allow him to fit nicely into the cast. His return to town would make sense.
Creatively, and if desired, he could be SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) into his twenties. That connection between Brooke and Nick would likely drive momentum for them to reunite as a couple.
Ridge Forrester Believes He Knows
Ridge continues to insist that Taylor is the woman he wants. She is rightfully concerned that B&B’s latest European location shoot will overwhelm Ridge’s emotions.
Taylor’s other recent strategic move was to ask Ridge to remarry her. That would only be their third union, falling five short of his record-setting eight nuptials with the woman Nick doesn’t want referred to as Logan.
Another nice bit of soap has Ridge and Nick as paternal brothers through their late father, Massimo Marone (who was portrayed by the late Joseph Mascolo). That adds persistent tension-grudge drama to this part of the conflict.
Ridge has convinced himself that Taylor is the best choice for a stable life. But Brooke’s enduring hold on his heart can never be discounted.
Nick Marone Docked In Los Angeles, California?
Nick is a shipping magnate. The sea is his home, with Brooke’s availability luring him back to Los Angeles, California.
His extended stay (2003-2012) in LA could mean he would relocate to California to be with Brooke. However, Nick would likely want Brooke to travel the world with him.
Like Taylor, Nick recognizes that the Brooke-Ridge bond is strong. So, he’s willing to work with Taylor for their mutual advantage.
Viewers aren’t far enough along in this storyline to be able to make a definitive call about Wagner’s potential stay on B&B. Brooke hasn’t committed to Nick but could if she determines, likely impulsively, that Ridge will go beyond engagement with Taylor through to remarriage.
