She had thought Liam was merely a crush, not something deeper-this love story intrigued her, particularly since she is currently dating Liam’s brother, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). Ivy returned to Los Angeles with the intention of reconnecting with Liam, but her plans fell apart-her career ended up overshadowing her personal life.

Ivy even went to the extent of dressing like Steffy to catch his attention-she deceived Liam into marrying her; it turned out that Ivy was already a U.S. citizen.
It’s difficult to classify this as a legendary love story, the highlight was when Steffy slapped Liam; it was a dramatic plot, but it didn’t really show romance.

Ivy and Liam’s relationship developed under false pretense. That doesn’t mean they didn’t love each at the end. Ivy fell for Liam because Quinn pushed her off the bridge and Liam saved her. Liam married her after finding out that she may be deported. Hope left town and Liam fell for Ivy. Then of course Steffy came back claiming her territory of Liam which Liam told Steffy at that time he was in love with Ivy until Ivy taped Steffy and Ally fighting which led to Ally death. Ivy was using the tape against Steffy to leave Liam alone but Liam found out and Liam left Ivy. So, no their love wasn’t this great love story. I do believe Liam and Ivy loved each other. Maybe, they can try again.
