Sofia Mattsson Shares Beautiful Homeland With GH Fans
Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore) from General Hospital is in her beautiful homeland, and this weekend some ABC fans talked about her in a post that she shared earlier this month. She had shared some lovely photos with ABC fans. But in the comments, there was a bit of a twist, read on for more details.
Free Of The Show For Now
Of course, most GH fans know that Sofia exited the show this year after her seven-year run. Remember, on July 18, Michael finally agreed that Sasha Gilmore should leave Port Charles with her daughter, Daisy. The window’s open for a return, but Sophia lost no time in heading across the ditch to her home.
Sofia Mattsson came from Sweden and her acting career kept her busy stateside when she starred in movies and shows like Jurassic City. So, now that she’s free for a bit, she went back home and since then, she posted some very nice photos on Instagram.
Lovely Photos From Sweden
What do fans know about Sweden? Well, firstly, most people assume that it’s always cold there. Actually, part of it lies within the Arctic Circle, but certainly, Sofia didn’t look cold. In fact, she wore a blue top with no jacket. The one photo on Instagram showed her sitting up with the stunning watery background.
Meanwhile, the second one showed her lying on a wooden pier looking warm and comfortable. In her caption, she said, “Hello from beautiful Stockholm.” She also posted a photo of herself on her home ground nearly a year ago, and just hours ago, someone also commented on that. It seems that she’s popular and well-loved wherever she is. Although she’s not posting much, her fans do check up on her.
Nothing Quite Like Home
While fans are sad to see the exit of Sasha Gilmore, others understand that the pull of home is always deep. So, on Sunday, a follower wrote, “So sad to see you go but home is always special.” Of course, she is a US citizen nowadays, but it must be nice to catch up with family, friends, and culture.
It seems that the actress won’t stay in Stockholm forever. Earlier this month she did tell TV Insider, “I have some exciting new projects in the works, so I hope to see everyone through another screen soon!”
Other Cast With Swedish Ties
There’s another GH cast member with ties to Sweden, and that, of course, is Chris McKenna, (Jack Brennan) whose wife, Lovisa, hails from the country that boasts forests, lakes, mountains, stunning coastlines, and lots of little islands. He’d told Sofia Mattsson that he would also be in the country soon.
Joking, he wouldn’t tell his fans why he was going there. But, that happened, and recently, he and his wife and gorgeous son had a lovely time there. They went to Hanebostrand, and also, he also talked about visiting Norway.
