General Hospital Star Kirsten Storms Slams A Fan Over Chad Duell Rumors
It looks like she’s wasting no time in setting the record straight. General Hospital star Kirsten Storms, who is best known for her role as Maxie Jones, just slammed a fan over her former co-star Chad Duell and all of the rumors surrounding his exit from the show. Kirsten Storms Slams A Fan Over Chad Duell Rumors
Kirsten recently announced that she is moving to Tennessee, which of course puts her future at the hit ABC soap in jeopardy. That, unless she’s looking to make the long commute to film her scenes.
And while Kirsten hasn’t really explained what she plans on doing in the future, she did take the time to respond to a fan that said Chad Duell was also going to return to General Hospital but he never did.
In fact, the fan implied that the General Hospital star was not going to come back the same way that Chad didn’t come back.
However, Kirsten was very quick to defend General Hospital Executive Producer Frank Valentini. She says that he has given everyone an opportunity to come back on the show, especially if the timing is right.
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Kirsten Storms?
Kirsten put it this way, “Frank does not come on social media and start throwing people under the bus to clear up these undeserved and incredibly mean lies.”
“He could absolutely throw shade at actors that made major mistakes or caused problems. Instead he works to make sure General Hospital continues to air. For the record, Chade chose to completely leave the show.”
She then continued, “No one at ABC gave his job away. He told them he didn’t want it anymore when he wasn’t going to resign his contract. I’m still under contract and have every intention of returning when the break I was fortunate enough to be granted is over.”

In my opinion, viewers should leave well enough alone when it comes to actors and their removal from canvas whether personal or by TPTB. After all being a character on a soap is job just like any other job and it need not be discussed as to the whys certain things occurred. Viewers should put themselves in the places of the actors and think about how they would like if in their chosen profession when a problem occurred it was discussed by the public. just because inquiring minds desire to know. If KS does decide after her move she does not want to return to GH then so be it. CD expressed his removal from canvas as due to personal situations and it should be taken as just that. Viewers are much too interested in the personal lives of actors and should be able to separate professional and personal actions taken by them. I realize I am in the minority more than likely on this situation, but I do believe whether an actor or just an every day person respect should be given.
