General Hospital spoilers report Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is crafting a daring plan to rescue his sister Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) and her mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) from Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) vindictive blackmail scheme.

After Kristina’s reckless attempt to kill Ava by cutting Ric’s brakes nearly ended in disaster, Ava and Ric are holding the threat of jail over Alexis’ head, demanding Cassadine cash that she really isn’t entitled to dish out the way she is.

GH fans are wondering whether Michael can outsmart the duo, or if his plan will backfire, plunging his family deeper into ruin?

Michael Steps Up to Save His Family

Kristina’s brake-slicing stunt, aimed at Ava but nearly killing Ric and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in the process, has fans on Facebook stunned, and now Michael could be stepping in to clean up her mess — or what’s transpired from it.

Alexis, blackmailed by Ava and Ric to fork over Cassadine estate funds, confided in Kristina, who spilled her secret to Michael.

He’s ready to think outside the box, possibly leveraging his wealth or digging up dirt on Ava and Ric to stop them.

We’ve gotta say we love the idea of this protective streak, but with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) distracted by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) mired in the weeds of chasing Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) ghost, Michael is on his own. Will his bold move save his sister and Alexis?

Ava and Ric Face Michael’s Counterattack

Michael could be plotting to neutralize Ava and Ric, but he’s going to be riding solo now that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is out of the country and out of the picture.

Who might he rely on? Could Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) help to unearth their secrets? Certainly, Ava’s past crimes — like tampering with Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) meds, leading to his untimely death — could be Michael’s leverage, while Ric’s shady history might crumble under scrutiny. Can Michael outwit Ava and Ric, or will they strike back?

Will Michael’s Plan Save or Sink His Family?

As Michael’s high-stakes rescue plays on, the fallout could upend his entire family. Will he free Kristina and Alexis from Ava and Ric’s grip, or will his plan implode in ways he can’t possibly expect in advance? I’m personally rooting for Michael to channel Sonny’s old mob boss fire, but with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) likely watching his every move, the risks are high.
