There have been a lot of mentions of the missing in action Stefan on the NBC Peacock show lately, and it’s only a matter of time before someone looks for him.

Hank Northrop Is The Late Wayne Northrop’s Son With Lynn Herring

Several months ago when DOOL’s original Roman Brady, Wayne Northrop passed away, it was mentioned that his son Hank was coming to the show but no character named.

His mother, Lynn Herring, who is more well known as General Hospital’s Lucy Coe, also played a short term role on DOOL as Lisanne Gardner.

Nothing has been hinted about Brandon Barash returning to the NBC Peacock soap, so might Hank be playing a recast Stefan DiMera?

Stefan disappeared several months ago now, having been “sent out of town” by his brother, EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel). Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) recently returned to Salem, mentioning he and his wife Anna DiMera (Leanne Hunley) looked for him and couldn’t find him.

Brandon Barash Was Fired For Undisclosed Reasons

Apparently, Brandon was fired for undisclosed reasons- having appeared on the soap since 2019, taking over the role of Stefan DiMera after Tyler Christopher left.

Later that same year, the character seemed to meet his end, with Stefan’s heart being given to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). However, in 2020, Barash made a comeback to the show in a new role.

It was disclosed that Stefan had a twin brother named Jake Lambert, who later became known as Jake DiMera, and was thought to have died at birth.

In a twist that only DOOL could pull off, Jake was eventually killed off, and his donated heart was used to resurrect Stefan, thanks to the work of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).

Tony Will Be Asking More Questions And Doing More Investigation As To Where Stefan Is

Considering Tony is the only DiMera interested in reclaiming the family business from Titan, which was founded by Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) Stefano DiMera’s (Joe Mascolo) enemy, he needs more DiMeras! And that means the search for Stefan will probably commence soon; Tony faces a challenging journey ahead, searching for his lost little brother while attempting to reclaim DiMera from Titan. Tony, who was exiled to an island many years ago may suspect something similar happened to Stefan.

As for when fans will find out who Stefan will be played by, that could take quite some time, although if Brandon was in fact fired, a recast would make sense. Now, DOOL is filming ten months ahead and nothing’s been teased about Brandon returning nor who Hank will play, so time will tell!
