Days Of Our Lives Comings & Goings July 21 – August 1: Goodbye, Double-Duty, Devious Daughter

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate the week of July 21-25 will offer some interesting plot twists, plus plenty of casting changes! Who’s coming and who’s going to the land of Salem over the next five ‘days’? Time to find out!

Bye, Bye Doug 3.0!

Reports reveal that Doug Williams III will exit the land of Salem next week, as Peyton Meyers’ last show will air on Friday, July 25.

The Days of Our Lives preview for next week also shows Doug saying goodbye to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), so this looks like the end of the road for Doug 3.0. Meyers joined the cast of DOOL in December 2024, entering the little town shortly after his grandfather, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) passed away.

He was involved in the explosive ‘Horton necklace theft’ storyline, and while he seemed like a villain at first, it was clear Doug had good intentions.

The show teased a romance between him and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), and he had a one-night stand with Arianna “Ari” Horton (Marissa Reyes); however, it looks like neither of these will end up panning out, and Doug will wrap up his storyline with the show this week.

Stacy Haiduk Pulls Double-Duty

Across town, Days of Our Lives for next week hints that Stacy Haiduk will pull double-duty as she dons slinky outfits to play Kristen DiMera, and some wacky costumes (and those fake teeth) as Susan Banks also re-enters the canvas.

Speaking of, Kristen’s daughter will also be back in storylines as Alice Halsey has scenes as the devious, but sweet, Rachel Black.

In other news, Karole Foreman has been cast in the role of Judge Dadney – the judge who will preside over the EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) shooting case, where Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will be tried for.

This may explain why Susan will return, as she’ll not only want to support Johnny, but her son, as well.
