Trace Bates & Lydia Welcome Their Second Baby

Bringing Up Bates alum Trace Bates and his wife, Lydia, have been raising their son, Ryker. He arrived in 2023. Along the way, the little family experienced a miscarriage. But this week, the news arrived that they welcomed their second child.

The Second Baby

Ryker is a very cute little kid, UPTV fans agree, but there are so many kids who have produced children that it’s not always easy to keep up. Well, if you don’t know, the gender of their newest baby is female, and the little girl’s name is Kaia Rae.

The couple posted a video on their YouTube channel, and it revealed that Lydia had contractions, so she went for a walk. It felt to her as if the baby was coming. However, they waited for a long time, but her contractions were not strong enough to go to the hospital. Then, Trace came into the scene and he eventually called the hospital, who said she could go in.

Childbirth Is Painful

Trace Bates seemed quite shocked because Lydia had so much pain. Anyway, he did what he could for Lydia. His mom also helped out and finally, the baby arrived. However, fans didn’t see the child. Nevertheless, they promised that soon, part 2 would arrive.

The Baby Arrived Safely – Fans React

Although UPTV canceled the family show, many people still follow the cast. They loved that right at the end, they heard the baby give her first cry. One follower commented, “That little cry at the end made me jump up and down! Congratulations Lydia & Trace, may she live long and be happy and healthy.”
