Kody Brown Hints What Happened At Garrison’s Funeral?

Sister Wives Season 19 Part 3 of the One-On-One Tell-All revealed a scene where Kody Brown was talking with Suykanya Krishnan about an incident with the other wives. Did he just hint at what happened during Garrison Brown’s funeral? Read on to find out what TLC fans think. 

The Funeral Rumors

After Garrison passed away in March 2024, rumors soon began to spread that Robyn Brown, Kody’s last remaining wife, clashed with Mykelti Padron. Her husband, Tony, had hinted that something went wrong during the funeral.

In the discussion about it, one fan speculated, “She probably said something rude. A lot of people believe if you commit suicide, you can’t get to heaven, and Robyn has been known to say things where religion is concerned.”

However, it seems that something else might have happened to cause another rift in the fractured TLC family.

Kody’s Hint

In the latest episode of the TLC show, without being asked to reveal anything about the funeral, Kody Brown suddenly started talking about something so bad that happened, that he couldn’t even talk about it. He told Sukanya that it was such a dreadful experience with the family that they were “kicked out.”

His confession gave no specifics, but he talked several times about “PDA” and how he and Robyn Brown learned to be very “careful” about doing anything in front of the rest of the family. Did they get too touchy-feely during the solemn occasion?

PDA At The Funeral?

On Reddit, a fan of the show shared the clip where Kody explained that it was so terrible for him and Robyn that they would never speak of it. In the caption, u/hereforthelols1999 asked:

Could this be what went down at the funeral? Seems recent and raw.

Nobody truly knows what actually happened. Mykelti merely described whatever happened with Robyn Brown as being a “bad attitude” during the funeral. Whatever happened made her angry at the disrespect shown to Garrison, Janelle, Christine, Meri, and his siblings. But, it does seem plausible that PDA, if it happened, might have been viewed as inappropriate.

What Do Viewers Think?

Not everyone believed that Kody and Robyn had caused disrespect during the funeral by giving Robyn too much PDA. However, others thought that it might have happened that way. One of them wrote:

My…thought on this is that since he kept referring to “they got kicked out”. Apparently, while exposing their TRUE LOVE via PDA. It certainly sounds like this could have truly been at an actual event (ie…during his son’s wake, funeral, etc.)

Here are a few more comments:

• I’m sure they were being inappropriate and performative about more than just PDA and that’s why they were asked to leave.
• ly!!!! I guarantee that whatever they actually did at the funeral or memorial was not JUST PDA. It must have been tied to something else they were doing or it was just completely inappropriate.
