General Hospital Fans Torn – Should Michael Keep Willow Away From The Kids?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) continues to be manipulated by Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), some fans feel that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) should still grant her access to see Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), on some level. Meanwhile, there are some fans who believe Michael is making the right move.

#TeamMommaBear – Willow Should See Her Kids

Willow had a disheartening meltdown in the courtroom after she realized she lost full custody of Wiley and Amelia and that Michael was awarded sole guardianship. She had to be hospitalized after the fact. Fans know that Willow is a good person and a good mom; she’s just been heavily manipulated by Drew.

After all, she wouldn’t have rushed to help Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) deliver her and Michael’s baby if she were a terrible person.

Anytime she’s been left to her own devices, Willow has always made solid and good decisions (i.e. like going to Baden-Baden to talk things out with Michael and allowing Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to make medical decisions on Michael’s behalf even though she legally had the proxy in this decision-making process).

As such, she deserves time on some level with Wiley and Amelia, not to mention the fact that the kids do miss her.

#TeamPapaBear – Michael Just Wants To Protect His Kids

Michael’s heart genuinely hurts at the idea of keeping the kids from Willow. This isn’t a malicious move, more so, something he feels strongly about when it comes to protecting his children.

After every terrible thing Drew has done, he crossed a line when he stated loudly in front of Wiley that Michael didn’t care about him or Amelia now that Daisy (Levi Clark Coughlin) was here. That was an all-time low, even for Drew.

Willow will eventually see Drew’s true colors shine, but until then, Michael can’t risk the emotional and toxic damage that comes with exposing his children to Drew, not to mention the fact that Drew has no moral compass and is a master manipulator.
