The Young And The Restless Spoilers reveal that spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is on the verge of a huge mental breakdown that could destroy some very important relationships in her life. Will Phyllis get through this and be ok on the other side? Is Phyllis blowing up her life as she knows it?

Phyllis Summer Fought Hard For Her Son

Phyllis has been through a great deal recently. Phyllis lost her son’s girlfriend, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).

Phyllis was almost the only person who believed in Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) innocence when he was accused of murder. Phyllis fought for her son until she finally proved his innocence.

Phyllis almost ended up going to prison for defending her son in this instance. Phyllis was the first one to tell the cops that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) could have killed Heather.

After all of this, Phyllis was kidnapped and put into a room with Sharon to figure out how to save each other from this mad man who was holding them hostage.

Phyllis Summers And Sharon Newman Almost Died

Phyllis and Sharon were traumatized in another way when they were kidnapped by Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins).

Sharon is handling this much better than Phyllis is. Phyllis wants everyone to believe that she is okay, however, she obviously isn’t. Phyllis has been trying to throw all of her attention toward her son, but that isn’t happening.

Phyllis is one nightmare away from a complete mental breakdown and no one seems to notice. Phyllis has insisted on having Daniel there to police.

Now that Daniel has backed out of Abbott Communications, Phyllis is losing it and has gotten herself fired. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) knows that Phyllis is going overboard but he has no idea exactly why.

Does Phyllis Summers Have PTSD Or Is It Something More?

Phyllis seems to have a bad case of PTSD after this ordeal with Sharon. However, it could be more as well. Phyllis certainly has a issue with being treated like a lab rat, it seems that those words are haunting her from somewhere. Does this stem from the kidnapping or is there a lot more to go alone with Phyllis’ issues?

Currently Phyllis feels completely abandoned. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is off with Sharon on a family trip. Billy is more concerned with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), and Daniel has pushed her away as well.

Phyllis is barely hanging on by a thread and now her daughter is about to leave town. Is Phyllis headed for a mental breakdown at breakneck speed?

Keep watching to see where this goes, but with no one to lean on, things are not looking good for Phyllis’s mental health at this point.
