The Young And The Restless Fans have found themselves at a crossroads considering none of the current couples seem to be worth rooting for.

What has happened to the love and romance? Have we just resorted to watching Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) try to destroy everyone until there is no one left to root for?

From Love In The Afternoon To Fizzle In The Board Room

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) were much better together when they had separate jobs. Adam knew that his father would insist that he go after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and that would certainly cause conflict. Why would Chelsea put herself in this situation when she knows it will blow up in her face.

Chelsea still cares about Billy and wants Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to back off and leave him alone. Chelsea believes that Bill deserves a chance to make something of his company without their interference.

Chelsea also knows that Adam will do whatever his father tell him without a second thought. No wonder that romance is going down the drain.

Billy Abbott And Sally Spectra Fall Flat

When Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) weren’t working together, they were hot. These two knew how to light up our afternoons and leave work for the office.

Now that Sally has come in to replace Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she is all about going after Adam because she knows that he will come after Abbott with a vengeance.

Adam is never going to defy his father when he orders him to go after Billy and Sally believes they have to be prepared. When is there any time for romance when everything has become about strategies? Billy And Sally were fun, but the writers are sucking the life out of their romance with another crisis.

Kyle Abbott And Claire Newman, Where Is The Romance?

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman (Haley Erin) cannot have a romance because of Claire’s desire from approval from Victor. Plenty of couples have managed to have a romance without their family’s approval and have gotten along very well.

Why is Victor’s approval needed from a grown woman who claims she can make her own decisions?

Once again Victor has struck another couple who seem to be falling apart. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has joined forces with Victor.Nate Hastings tried to warn Audra against trusting Victor. How many times has Victor used her in the past? Will Audra and Nate survive this business venture or will Audra end up reuniting with an old love and leaving town?
