The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Claire Breaks Up With Kyle As Audra’s Trap For Corporate Espionage Is Exposed

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has a plan to separate Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has asked her to do this, and if she succeeds in breaking them up, she will receive a new cosmetics company funded by Victor.

Victor Wanted Audra To Seduce Kyle

In their first conversation, Victor suggested to the brunette that she should charm Kyle to show Claire how awful he truly is as a boyfriend.

Audra stood up to leave immediately, prompting Victor to backtrack and dismiss his comment as a joke. After all, Audra is happily committed to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and has no desire to betray him.

While she may be concealing her agreement with Victor, which could be seen as dishonest to Nate, Audra likely rationalizes it as simply withholding some information. Ultimately, it’s evident that Audra is unwilling to overstep boundaries with another man because her love for Nate is sincere.

Audra Has A Better Idea, She Thinks

This explains why she might choose a different strategy to ensnare Kyle. At this stage, Victor wouldn’t mind what Audra did to tarnish Kyle’s reputation as a boyfriend, and he doesn’t necessarily have to betray Claire to achieve this.

Jump ahead to the episode on Thursday, May 15, where Audra made progress in her scheme.

While slightly flirtatious and alluring during her conversation with Kyle at Crimson, even Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) noticed her body language; she didn’t overstep any boundaries, but she successfully piqued Kyle’s interest. He was completely taken in by her clever ‘innovative product’ pitch!

Kyle Hung On Audra’s Every Word

Kyle was completely captivated by Audra as she shared her insights on shaking up the cosmetics world with her offerings.

Observing Kyle’s eager eyes, even fans could sense that his interest in Audra’s cosmetic line was second to the attraction he still felt for the brunette who once hurt him deeply. He rushed to his parents with the enthusiasm of a child who had just discovered a treasure trove of candy, eager to relay Audra’s words.

Like a naive child, Kyle seems to think he can cleverly weave his way closer to Audra to gather information, which comes across as both innocent and amusing. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) both cautioned him about getting involved with Audra again, but Kyle thinks he knows what he’s doing.

Kyle’s Headed For A Heartache

As the saying goes, ‘Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!’ Currently, Kyle is being set up to appear foolish, and Audra won’t even need to strip down to achieve her aim.

On Thursday, Kyle had a serious discussion with Claire about his intention to befriend Audra in order to uncover her new cosmetics secret.

Although Claire initially approved of the idea, it was clear to viewers that she was not entirely on board with Kyle’s scheme. The preview for The Young and the Restless for the week of May 19-23 reveals a scene where Claire will retract her support for Kyle’s plan.

Claire Now Has Reservations

Claire appears to have some doubts, which might lead her to change her response from ‘okay’ to ‘no’. The question is, will Kyle heed the concerns of his less experienced girlfriend and reconsider the plan-alternatively, he might agree to hold back while secretly proceeding with it! This could potentially lead to a rift between Kyle and Claire without any further complications.

Even if Audra doesn’t ensnare him in a trap, the mere act of Kyle deceiving Claire and continuing with his intentions could create tension between them (assuming he gets caught!). As for Audra’s strategy, perhaps it’s not about seduction after all, but rather about corporate espionage?

Kyle Previously Had No Issues Stealing A Jabot Product

Fans might remember that Kyle previously stole a product from Jabot before its launch to impress Victor while at Glissade. Audra might think Kyle could make the same foolish mistake again-he is eager to learn about Audra’s new product, and if it seems promising, he might foolishly attempt to steal it again.

Could Audra actually have Kyle arrested if she catches him in the act? The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Kyle is reckless and arrogant enough to try this again, especially since he faced no consequences last time due to his parents’ intervention. However, Audra will not let him off the hook, and if Claire finds out, she won’t either.
