That’s because Steffy seems to be incredibly concerned about Hope’s welfare now that it’s been established that Liam Spencer is in fact dying.

Steffy is concerned that Hope doesn’t know anything and seeing how they have a child, Beth, she thinks that Liam should do the right thing and tell the truth.

This is clearly a side of Steffy no one has seen before.

As our loyal readers can imagine, the internet certainly had a lot to say about what direction Steffy Forrester is going in.

Some have even taken to social media to comment on the matter with, “I can buy it, but that’s just because I like Steffy. I’d like to think that the (supposed) reality of a loved one’s impending death might cause someone to want to drop hostilities for the greater good.”

“She specifically mentioned Beth a lot and how Beth and Kelly are sisters, and I do believe she cares about Beth’s welfare.”

Another critic wrote, “I don’t think Steffy has the capacity to care about Hope but I as I was watching I was thinking we are to believe that Steffy is doing it for Liam , not because she cares abut Hope. Once Liam is not sick anymore or not alive, then I feel like Steffy will go back to her old self.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Because Steffy can and has thought beyond her own needs over and over. And always has put the children way ahead of her needs and anyone else’s too. Steffy and Hope go after each other with equal fervor, so I’m not going to debate that.”
