Mrs. Doubtfire Former Child Star Rants Over Headline

Mrs. Doubtfire star Lisa Jakub played the role of Lydia Hillard in the movie that starred Robin Williams. Although she had nearly 20 years in movie and TV roles, she started acting at the age of four. Recently, the former child star strongly objected to a headline and called out the writer. However, it was the headline that got the former Mrs. Doubtfire star upset. Perhaps it was too short, keeping it sweet for search engine optimisation purposes. In any event, it upset Lisa Jakub.

Talking to Instagram, she shared a screenshot of the headline that included the writer’s name. If you wonder what the headline was that incited such a strong reaction, it was “Once-Popular Child Stars Who Completely Vanished.”

In her post, the retired actress ranted sarcastically:

Big news, everyone. I’ve just found out that I have “completely vanished.” Was it my current lack of popularity that made me vanish? I’m not sure how I was able to evaporate entirely (have I been a wizard all along?), but as soon as we have more information, I’m sure this publication will let you know.

What Did The Article Say? 

In the segment about the Mrs. Doubtfire star, the article mentioned her 18-year career, and cited Parade on her feelings about not being “one of those child-actor cautionary tales.”

Additionally, it talked about how, after leaving her acting career, she found “acclaim as a speaker, yoga teacher, and author of two books that reflect on her experiences as a child actor and struggles with anxiety.”

More complimentary words followed as it mentioned Lisa Jakub’s “mental wellness company, ‘Blue Mala.”‘ Then, it concluded by noting her strong social media following. 

How Did Her Followers React?

Some of Lisa Jakub’s 48.1K followers sympathised, and a few sarcastic comments also arrived. One of them wrote, “I must have missed that episode of IN SEARCH OF!”

Meanwhile, another follower of the former actress just wrote, “Wow.”

It would be interesting to know how many people went online and tracked down the story. There was no disinformation in the segment of the article about the former star. It seems that the actress might have been happier if the headline read, “Once-Popular Child Stars Who Completely Vanished From Your Screens Apart From YouTube & Several Interviews.”
