While a lot of people are understanding that Dante has a reason to flip out seeing how his child almost died, he certainly did things that were twice as bad when he was Danny and Rocco’s age, too.

Not only that, but a lot of people are upset that Dante is now trying to hang Danny to the wolves, despite the fact that he basically helped raise the boy when Sam McCall was still alive.

It’s also been noted that while kids do make mistakes and sometimes those mistakes are costly, Rocco’s going to be fine and that everyone is treating the situation with the appropriate amount of concern.

General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Rocco?

General Hospital fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “They’ve given Rocco the physical punishment (which is more than Danny got) but neither Lulu nor Dante have given him any verbal smack down about why he can’t continue doing this or informed him about the risks of drinking or going along with peer pressure.”

“So even if what Dante says about Jason’s parenting is kinda true and there is a small point to be made about Gio, it’s phony coming from him who hasn’t even checked his own kid who put himself in danger.”

Another fan put it this way, “How many times can they have the same conversation? The only difference in the last one was they added Ned and Olivia. We get it.. Dante blames Gio…Gio feels bad… Dante blames Jason… Jason doesn’t care.”

And then there was this comment as well: “There could be an interesting story here in that Dante is morphing into Sonny-Sonny can’t admit when his kids do anything wrong, and that’s how you end up with Kristina.”

“Danny and Rocco are so close in age. So it’s not like Danny led Rocco astray. Again, a slightly more interesting take would play off the fact Rocco got his mom back because Danny’s mom died.”
