Rory has taken over from actor Chad Duell, who left General Hospital late last year in order to pursue other opportunities in the entertainment industry.

And while the daytime television industry can be a very highly critical one, it looks like they are giving Rory the thumbs up over his portrayal of Michael. Or at least, that’s what the consensus seems to be so far.

In other words, it looks like this version of Michael is here to stay in this fictional town of Port Charles.

As our readers can imagine, General Hospital fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “It’s still too early to gauge whether RG will bring the perfect Michael, but from his entrance and the few lines he spoke; he made a big impact. He’s good looking and I liked the energy he brought to his character. Fingers crossed!”

Rory Is Bringing The Drama Back

Another fan of the show wrote, “I agree I think is going to be a good choice. I liked the way he locked eyes with Wiley. When he came in he didn’t care about who was in that ballroom he just went straight for Wiley.”
