The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Martin’s Reveal Happens – Jack’s Full Focus Shifts To Victor

The Young and The Restless: Martin Laurent

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) is finally confirmed dead. After falling from the window in Paris, France, the man who lived was his identical twin, Martin Laurent (Cousins in a dual role).

The audience wasn’t allowed to know if Alan was the man Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) was engaged to until now. While viewers were allowed to see that Cousins’ character was the kidnapper, the mystery of his true identity remained cloaked as part of a clever half-mystery storyline.

Sadly, this means Traci’s relationship with Martin was ill-fated. Those who know her backstory are disappointed, with her last legitimate romantic opportunity being with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). She turned him down six calendar years ago.

Traci Abbott Leads The Effort To Expose Martin Laurent

Traci was humiliated and devastated. But she recovered quickly and stood up to the man she still wanted to believe in and marry.

The scene in the Genoa City Athletic Club’s main dining room by the bar represented one in a series of cascading climaxes. Traci left her suite determined to get the truth.

She pressed the man she had agreed to marry about who he was. But his additional obfuscation didn’t lead to the final climax being stretched. Soon thereafter, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) followed Traci’s lead by forcing Martin to admit the truth.

The Young and The Restless: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)

Victor Newman Is Lurking In The Sunlight

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been behaving oddly in recent months. Rather than skulk in the darkness, he tells his intended targets what’s coming.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has been increasingly angered by Victor telling him and his parents that they are facing doom. Mealor’s character shared his frustrations with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), who’s getting to know the many sides of her infamous grandfather and his version of family protection.

Aristotle Dumas’ (no actor known to be cast for this role) connection with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could be the factor that prevents Victor from completing an attack on the Abbott family and Jabot. However, in any regard, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) can now focus on Victor’s latest scheme now that Traci’s situation has been resolved.

Jack Abbott Intends To Win The Battle

Jack purchased Glissade’s pieces, which Victor sold off last year. The acquisition prices were low, which caused Jack to believe that he was one-upping the Moustache.

However, the mole Kyle spotted within Jabot implies that others exist. If so, that could mean Victor wasn’t outplayed but was setting a trap.

The renewed battle between Victor and Jack taps into this soap opera’s deep history. The quasi-truce both men called in recent years has been over for months, with each combatant intending to win this next battle. Yet, the specter of Aristotle makes the outcome unpredictable and, therefore, compelling.
