The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Could It Really Be-Is Alan Still Alive?
The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates reveal Alan and Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) are classic good and evil twins-but the question is, did one of them really die? Or could Alan be alive-Martin ended up being the one who kidnapped Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), leaving Traci Abbott (Beth Matiland) heartbroken.
Is There More To This Story; Could Alan Really Be Alive Somewhere?
Months ago, it was revealed that it was Martin (Christopher Cousins) who had manipulated Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) emotions, not Alan (Christopher Cousins).
During their confrontation in Paris, a struggle ensued, which was believed to have left Martin dead while Alan survived.
Traci spent some time in Paris, where she grew close to Alan; their bond blossomed into love, prompting them to return to Genoa City together.
Everything seemed perfect between them until Alan proposed, and Traci joyfully accepted his offer.
However, after Alan went back to Paris without her, Traci began to suspect that Martin had abducted Sharon and Phyllis; her fears were confirmed when Martin admitted to the kidnapping.
Switcheroo Or Sinister Story?
Could it be that Martin survived the fall while Alan is the twin who perished-it’s a possibility, as it certainly felt like a life was lost.
Yet there was no funeral and it seems strange that the one who “died” wore Alan’s clothes; still, in the world of soap operas, death often isn’t as final as it seems.
It’s conceivable that both twins made it through, with Martin finding a way to escape after being presumed dead-this scenario could imply that Alan is still alive.
But if Alan is alive, where is he-or did this sinister switch happen after Ashley was treated in the Paris clinic successfully? We know one thing that didn’t happen-at least originally, there were two brothers, so Martin couldn’t have been a result of DID and Alan’s alter!
Does Martin Have Alan Captive Somewhere As A Sinister Plot?
Perhaps Sharon and Phyllis weren’t the only ones who were kidnapped as a part of a sinister plot-could it be that Alan is captive in some long-abandoned psych ward? And he, too is the guinea pig in a bizarre and tortuous experiment of Martin’s? We do know that whichever twin survived they really didn’t have time to switch clothing on the way down from the balcony, and he hung around for a while grieving.
Ashley was taken to the clinic in Paris offscreen so we really couldn’t tell who took her-so many scenarios could have taken place after the fall from the balcony.
But it’s entirely possible that Alan is being held captive, and Traci and Ashley, who have returned to Paris will find and rescue him!
