The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam And Billy: Roles Reversed, Chelsea And Sally’s Changing Fortunes

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) continues to make the right impression on the woman he loves. In contrast, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is making all the wrong moves.

Adam knows Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) better than anyone, including Billy. He rightly sensed that all wasn’t well between her and Thompson’s character. Adam knows how he treated Sally and what the result was and continues to hope that she will see that Billy isn’t the right man for her.

Billy’s insecurities drive him along with his longstanding grudge against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his namesake son. It wasn’t ironic that Billy was bad-mouthing Adam at the same time that Adam was chiding him in front of Sally.

Victor Newman’s Abbott Vendetta Rages On

Only a select few know it, but Billy’s instinct about Victor and Adam is right. They are currently working to get him, the Abbott family, and Jabot.

Victor is going heavy against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) because he foolishly believes Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) life was nearly lost. That was never true. Instead, Jack put himself needlessly at risk when buying and ingesting an illegal substance to shock Nikki out of her alcohol binge.

But Victor is going beyond Jack by targeting Abbott Media. He specifically wants to thwart Billy’s new venture and is using Adam to facilitate current and future dirty deeds.

Billy Abbott’s Strange Alliance Could Work

Billy is holding a major wild card in his gambling hands. Aristotle Dumas (no actor known to be cast for this role) reached out to him in recent months and is believed to want to help reacquire Chancellor.

That offer was too good for Billy to pass up. It could be that Aristotle’s feelings for Victor will cause him to help Billy.

Then again, this mysterious corporate giant might be using the head of Abbott Media as a pawn, just like Victor would.

Sally and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are both fearful. They don’t like Billy’s association with the shadowy Aristotle. It’s telling that two women who care about Billy while disliking each other share this assumption.

Sally Spectra Has Comparative Experience

Sally is increasingly concerned that the risky road Billy is taking won’t end well for him. That route may also damage their relationship, which shows signs of cracking.

She believes Billy should not be associated with Aristotle because someone in that world wouldn’t be offering charity for no reason. Sally also is concerned about the personal aspect of his bond with Phyllis.

Billy and Phyllis have a history. Stafford’s character is vulnerable due to her recent kidnapping ordeal. Billy’s vulnerability and potential for business reversals could lead to him betraying her just like Adam did with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
