EJ is ready to face any punishment from Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), but Dan Feuerriegel revealed that his character will direct his anger towards those who revealed the secret.

EJ has made quite a few enemies on the NBC Peacock soap, and now his son Johnny is among them. After discovering the truth about his conception, Johnny’s relationship with his father has been severely damaged.

It will take time for Johnny to heal from this revelation; meanwhile, EJ is upset with those who disclosed the truth to Johnny. Dan Feuerriegel has shared his thoughts on whether EJ will seek revenge on the informants.

EJ’s Flying By The Seat Of His Pants On This One

EJ was furious and struggled to justify his actions towards Sami  Brady (Alison Sweeney) to Johnny, feeling guilty about what he had done. Johnny unexpectedly confronted his father, revealing that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) had inadvertently disclosed the information before trying to retract it.

However, Kate  Brady (Lauren Koslow) took charge and informed Johnny of the full story, which infuriated EJ; he even threatened to retaliate against her.

Feuerriegel shared with Soap Opera Digest that EJ is mostly improvising his next steps, indicating he is uncertain about how to mend things with Johnny but is seeking revenge elsewhere.

The actor noted that EJ feels powerless at this moment, with no options left but to go after those who revealed the secret to Johnny and possibly stop further information from leaking.

EJ Took Responsibility To Johnny, But Will Still Seek Revenge On Those Who Told Him

EJ is on a quest for revenge against everyone involved, but Feuerriegel pointed out that his character acknowledges his wrongdoings and accepts Johnny’s anger.

Repairing his relationship with Johnny may be challenging, and the actor shared EJ’s perspective on those who revealed the secret to Johnny. “If you’re going to treat EJ that way, he’ll respond in kind.”

EJ believed that the secret was not Kate’s to share, especially after Johnny’s intense reaction when he stormed into Chez DiMera and hit his father. Feuerriegel elaborated on EJ’s plan to make amends: “If I’m the one taking the blame, then I’ll confront everyone else involved as well.”
