Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that finding romance in the land of Salem can be challenging for a character like Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). He’s been on the canvas for 17+ years, and it feels as if he’s “dated” everyone in town, right?
Still, with his latest romance going south last week, his ex, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), seems to be moving on to Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer), while Rafe had no one.
But, as Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) recently noted, Rafe is one of the ‘good ones’ so how long could he stay single? Here are some romance options for the character.
Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) definitely shares sparks with Chad DiMera, but as fans know, Billy Flynn’s ‘days’ are numbered on the soap.
As Days films far in advance, it sounds like Chad will be around until 2026, but that doesn’t mean that he and Cat will continue any sort of relationship until then.

Sami’s sister seems to navigate toward her older sibling’s exes, so could Belle Black (Martha Madison) ditch the idea of pursuing EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and decide to dive into a romance with Rafe? He’s just as cute and charming as EJ, with far less money, but far more integrity.
Belle likes the bad boys, but does better with “good guys”, so maybe a Bafe romance is in the cards?
Speaking of the DiMeras, what about Rafe and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)? She desperately needs to get over Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and move on, and he could use a challenging woman to keep him in line.
They say opposites attract in the land of Salem, and you don’t get any more ‘opposite’ than Kristen and Rafe! Plus, it would be nice for Kristen to get into a bonafide romance with someone other than Brady!
