The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sharon And Nick’s Slow-Walked Revival Is Believable
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is connected to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for life.
But their one and only marriage ended nearly two decades ago, and they haven’t remarried, which is highly unusual in daytime.
Nick led Sharon’s rescue from the abandoned psychiatric facility. He was also the first person in Genoa City, Wisconsin, who recognized something was off and determined her medication was manipulated.
So, now that both crises have been dealt with, it’s time for Sharon and Nick to focus on each other. Resonate love isn’t the question. Whether they are in sync and want to try to reconcile for a third time is an open question.
An Argument Against Sharon Newman And Nick Newman
Being divorced since the mid-2000s is why a revival isn’t a good idea. It would have happened if they had been destined to be together again.
Devoted fans recall that Sharon and Nick made two attempts to remarry. Both efforts were legitimate and offered hope to Shick fans but ended with incomplete ceremonies.
The last remarriage attempt occurred when Gina Tognoni (Phyllis Summers) was part of the cast.
It’s also right to cite the reason why Sharon’s trust was initially betrayed in the years following Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) tragic death.
Nick’s turn to Phyllis (then, as now, played by Michelle Stafford) was devastating. Phyllis is currently single, which arguably makes her a threat even considering the threshold she and Sharon crossed together in seemingly finally burying the rivalry hatchet.
Stating The Case For A Revival Leading To Remarriage
However, love conquers all. Anyone who was a fan of Sharon and Nick believes that because that’s why they’ve wanted this couple written back to remarriage.
Two past attempts at remarriage aren’t deciders. Both people have matured, as most do when advancing to middle age.
What’s clear is that two people who met each other in high school, married, and had two children have remained connected. That wouldn’t be the case if they didn’t care about each other, and anyone who doubts that claim can look at many different couples in GC where that reality doesn’t apply.
What Happens Next In Genoa City Is Unpredictable
A good storyline plays out over time. It’s also believably written.
Sharon lost her husband, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), a handful of years ago in real-time and soap-time. A rebound to Nick could have happened, but they had to connect with other people first.
Now, dealing with typical soapy dramas and reconsidering their bond, it’s reasonable for Sharon and Nick to take another look at themselves.
A teased trip with their daughter, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), provides a destination getaway opportunity that would make for a memorable realized reunion.
Momentum exists, both characters are in the mood, and a dedicated segment of the fan base wants this to happen. So, why not make it happen?
