Ordway took to social media to share her latest news, announcing her return to television with a new part in an upcoming episode of “Blue Ridge.” The first season is currently available for streaming on platforms like Roku, Sling TV, and Peacock and centers around Sheriff Justin Wise (Johnathon Schaec), who protects his small town from criminal threats.

Melissa Teased A Fun Episode Of The Drama

It seems that Ordway has landed a part in yet another drama, but revealed it’s a fun episode of the same one. She recently shared a collection of behind-the-scenes photos from the set on her Instagram-the first image showcased her alongside the cast, tor their Shakespeare-themed episode, Ordway donned a stunning medieval outfit.

She shared a playful moment with her co-star, Jesse Hutch, as they both made exaggerated expressions for the camera, and, Ordway snuggled up to Gary Wheeler and Amor Owens, adding to the fun. She hinted at some intriguing details about her new television role.

To cap off her post, she included a picture of the director’s chair, proudly displaying her character’s name, “Janey,” with a script resting on the seat.

Fans Are Happy For Melissa’s New Role, But Want Her Back As Abby

Ordway shared in her post, “‘To be, or not to be, that is the question”; she expressed gratitude for being part of this fun episode of #BlueRidge.” It was her second day on set, and fans of Y&R are thrilled to see her doing well outside the daytime soap. Many expressed similar feelings in the comments, hoping she might return to the show someday-one fan wrote, “So happy for you enjoying what you love doing.

That fan continued, “I pray doors will open for you and possibly return to Y&R; another added, “You are so missed by Y&R fans.” Some fans were surprised to find out that Ordway was filming in Charlotte, North Carolina; one user commented, “Awe, I hope you are enjoying our town!!”  to which Ordway replied, “Love it!”
