The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Martin Fits Aristotle Dumas’ Profile – Double Shocker In Genoa City
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) is suspected to be Martin Laurent (Cousins in a dual role). However, a deeper reveal would prove to be one of the greatest double shockers in the recent history of Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is sure that she was duped. Not wanting to believe that the sweet man she fell in love with actually killed his twin brother, the man he’d been posing as. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) agree with Traci that Alan appears to be Martin.
Yet, the audience collectively wonders if concurrent recent scenes regarding another mystery man imply a deeper reveal. Is Martin also Aristotle Dumas (no actor known to be cast for this role, or so it seems to be)?
Ashley Abbott’s Longtime Friend, Alan Laurent
Alan was introduced to viewers a while ago. He was the psychiatrist Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) knew in Paris, France.
As fans recall, the real Alan appeared during the period when Ashley was struggling. She created a false memory of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) that Alan eventually helped Ashley unlock and correct.
What seemed like a potential romantic opening for Ashley and Alan developed into a different love match, or so it seemed. Alan’s battle with his demented identical twin brother, Martin, resulted in both men falling out of a window. Martin was thought to have died.
For ease of reading, Alan’s name will be used through the end of this post because the identity of this character has yet to be confirmed.
Kidnapping Sharon Newman And Phyllis Summers
The man, who was thought to be Alan, eventually moved to GC to be with his claimed love, Traci. In short order, he asked Traci to marry him, and it appeared that Maitland’s world was finally being uplifted.
However, viewers were privy to the bent interior of Alan’s mind. So, they learned who kidnapped Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) toward the end of their captivity.
Various characters began to scratch the veneer of this mystery, most notably when Sharon reminded Traci that Alan hypnotized her while working with the police. That and the texts Traci accidentally created a significant early spring chill.
Aristotle Dumas Infiltrates Genoa City
Aristotle is being increasingly mentioned. A new actor, like the recently hired Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera on Days of our Lives), might be connected to this role. But he’s too young to be the man Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been referring to.
It’s possible that the character Flynn plays is connected to Aristotle or has assumed that personality in modern times. But if he’s not him, the character Cousins’ has been portraying could fit Aristotle’s profile.
Viewers have been told that Aristotle hasn’t been seen, and Victor is not believed to have seen him during the years they were competing in business.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has spoken with Aristotle on the phone but didn’t speak with Alan. Viewers don’t know if Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) has ever met his boss in person.
Alan’s move to GC and his apparent master of disguises could also plausibly mean he’s Aristotle. That would be a massive reveal, but it also means that Aristotle wouldn’t be long for the show because the evidence will likely confirm that he kidnapped Sharon and Phyllis.
