In November 2024, Ordway revealed that she had transitioned from a full-time contract to a recurring role, following when Abby tied the knot with Devon Winters (Bryton James) in a landmark episode.

Ordway took to Instagram to announce her return to the set of the CBS soap opera. She shared a series of captivating photos featuring the Newman Ranch and Society, showcasing her excitement.
In one snapshot, she posed alongside co-stars Braeden and Christian LeBlanc, and later captured a moment with her other on-screen family members, James and Christel Khalil. “Abby’s back in #GenoaCity for a couple episodes with her Newman and Winters families,” she wrote in the post, bringing fans along for her journey.

Ordway is set to make a guest appearance on Blue Ridge: The Series, which is broadcast on the digital cable network INSP and filmed in Charlotte, North Carolina. In the episode she’s recently worked on, she will portray a character named Janet.
The actress has been sharing behind-the-scenes photos featuring her and other cast members, including A Martinez, a well-known figure in the daytime television realm. Martinez, who played Cruz Castillo on Santa Barbara, also appeared in GH as Roy DiLucca, OLTL as Ray Montez, and DOOL as Eduardo Hernandez.
