Or as we prefer to refer to him, Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins), who has a hidden evil plan-now, rumors are swirling that he might not be the only one orchestrating events!
We Never Saw This Coming
Could he be collaborating with Ian Ward (Ray Wise) or worse yet, both Ian and Jordan (Colleen Zenk)? The ultimate instigator, Ian, has been a persistent source of trouble for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for years and also entangled Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and her family in his chaotic schemes.
It’s entirely plausible that he is collaborating with Martin, also known as Fake Alan, to orchestrate this turmoil-doesn’t that seem much more logical?
Martin, or “Alan,” is a newcomer in Genoa City; how else would he know which two women would serve as the perfect subjects for his strange social experiment? Clearly, someone has been providing him with information, and Ian Ward is precisely the type of mastermind who would excel in this kind of disorder.
Mad Scientist And Cult Leader Team Up?
Let’s take a moment to recognize just how absurd and perilous this alliance would be. On one side, we have “Alan/Martin,” a man whose obsession with human experimentation led him to abduct two of Genoa City’s most unpredictable women.
On the other side stands Ian Ward, a genuine cult leader who has spent years manipulating and tormenting others for his own twisted pleasure—and he knows both of the captives all too well.
Together, they form a volatile mix of wickedness, and Genoa City may not be equipped to handle this level of chaos.
Picture these two in a shadowy hideout, laughing maniacally over their elaborate plots, while Ian fills Martin’s head with philosophical drivel about fate and control.
Perhaps We Could Have The Three Musketeers Of Villainy At Work?
Ian likely persuaded Martin that testing Phyllis and Sharon was a form of spiritual exploration, but in truth, he’s simply enjoying the chaos. Let’s not overlook the fact that the last time Ian interfered with Sharon and Phyllis, the situation turned deadly.
Additionally, Ian had previously drugged Sharon with PCP—if anyone had the means to nearly harm Phyllis, it would be him, or perhaps even Jordan (Colleen Zenk)!
What if they formed a treacherous trio, and if he—or they—are truly collaborating with Martin, we could be facing a catastrophic outcome.
Is this Ian’s latest scheme for revenge-or is Martin merely a pawn in a much larger plot; regardless, we should all be extremely concerned.
