General Hospital Spoilers: Will Lucky Finally Decide To Stay In Port Charles?

Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) has had a rough six months. First, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) had him playing poker for his life in Africa, and then, upon returning to Port Charles, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) tried to kill him with a hot shot of Digitalis. Now that Lucky is on the mend, he has some decisions to make.

General Hospital Spoilers: Lucky Has Grown Up A Lot Since We Last Saw Him In Port Charles

When Lucky first breezed back into town, no one expected him to stick around, least of all his ex, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), with whom he shares a son, Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy). Instead of staying close and helping to raise Aiden, Lucky has always been off on some mission, hoping to save the world.

As the years passed, Elizabeth stopped having any expectations of him helping to raise Aiden and became protective of her son. She knew first hand how painful it is when Lucky disappears and she didn’t want Aiden to feel any of that.

This time around, Lucky has prioritized getting to know his son. He has been careful with Aiden’s feelings and has loved and appreciated him for exactly who he is. Liz has watched their relationship blossom and eventually began to encourage and support it. Lucky hasn’t seemed so anxious to bail out on the family again.

General Hospital Spoilers: Then There Are Those Kisses That Lucky And Liz Have Shared

Lucky has had absolutely no expectations of rekindling things with Elizabeth, and maybe that is exactly why it seems to be happening. His gentle approach has not only made her begin to trust him again, but it’s reminiscent of when they first got together back in the late 90s. All of that love, magic, and chemistry is right beneath the surface in both of them.

When Lucky woke from his coma, he and Liz agreed that they have a lot to discuss. It seems quite likely that their future will be part of that conversation.

General Hospital Spoilers: Lucky Is Closer To Laura Than Ever

Lucky has always been close to his mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), but this time around he seems to appreciate her more. Lucky told her that he felt a calmness wash over him as she walked into his hospital room.

He also said that he is never too old to need his mother, solidifying their connection. It seems like Lucky is starting to understand that being around when it counts for his family is more important than running away to save strangers.

What do you think will happen next? Will Lucky and Liz rekindle things after all of these years?
