Not only is the mob boss committed to philanthropy, but he also has a soft spot for young people facing hardships.

Over the years, he has taken several troubled youths under his wing, including Stone Cates, Jason Morgan, Dev Cerci, Brando Corbin, Dex Heller, and most recently, Gio Palmieri from Bensonhurst. While I may have overlooked a few names, it’s clear that Sonny has a unique talent for nurturing those in need.

Sonny’s Help To Gio Is Different This Time

Gio has become the latest unfortunate teenager to find fortune after crossing paths with Sonny-however, this situation feels different from the others. It’s clear that Sonny has been showering Gio with cash throughout his life, while also instructing Lois to keep a little for herself. It’s hard not to suspect that Sonny and Lois are in cahoots. At this juncture, it’s evident that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) possesses far more knowledge about Brook Lynn’s baby than Brook Lynn herself. After all, BLQ was just a young girl when she became pregnant with Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) child.

Brook Lynn Doesn’t Blame Her Mom At All, Giving Up Her Baby Was Her Own Decision

Brooklyn’s feelings toward her mother’s role in her decision to give up the baby are clear: she does not hold Lois responsible. Brook Lynn has openly stated that she wasn’t prepared for motherhood at that moment and does not feel that Lois exerted any undue influence over her.

Instead, during that challenging period, she placed her complete faith in her mother, perhaps even more than she does in her husband Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

However, it is pretty clear that Sonny doesn’t know who Gio’s birth father is-if he did, he’d be upset that no one told Dante! He and Dante didn’t know they were father and son until Sonny shot him as an undercover cop-in front of his mother, and Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) was upset!

If Lois sought Sonny’s financial help, could they have mutually agreed that keeping this information from Dante and BLQ was the wisest choice?
