General Hospital spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Recast In The Works

General Hospital Spoiler suggest that a Spencer Cassadine (ex Alexander Chavis) has been discussed an awful lot lately. Could ABC be ready to recast Spencer since Trina Robertson is moving on with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup)?

What could be soapier than for Trina’s ex to return from the dead after all of these years?

Spencer Cassadine Fell Into The Icy Seine River

Spencer and Trina were in Paris so she could go to school there after everything they had been through with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

However, Esme followed them and tried to kill Trina. Spencer saved Trina but then fell into the icy water himself and he body was never recovered. Spencer has been presumed dead for over a year.

Fans know that recasts often happen just as the character get over their ex and moves on with their lives. Trina seems to be happy with Kai.

Spencer wouldn’t want her waiting around pining for him after he has been gone this long. Spencer would want nothing more than for Trina to be happy no matter what it takes.

Fans Beg Writers To Bring Spencer Cassadine Home

Some fans are not happy with Trina and Kai and want nothing more than for Spencer to come home even if he is a recast. Spencer has been gone for too long and it is obvious that Trina still misses him terribly.

Chavez was not the first Spencer and he surely doesn’t have to be the last. Why not recast him and get it over with.

If fans are not into Trina and Kai, then perhaps they should take this in another direction. Even Laura Collins (Genie Francis) attended Trina’s birthday party recently and Spencer crossed both of their minds.

Spencer has been mentioned time and again lately and that cannot be for no reason. It just doesn’t work that way on soaps.

Fans Are Offering Their Opinions

Fans have taken to social media to let the powers that be know that they want and hopt that they get it. GH fans have grown weary of recasts after the past two years.

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) all have been recast just in the past two years and some fans are not happy.

However some fans still argue to stop with the back from the dead stories. Spencer has been dead. Everyone has moved on. It certainly doesn’t look as though Chavez is coming back so do we need Spencer to come back from the dead?

There really isn’t too many Cassadines left. Do we let them fake away or start bringing back a few of the Cassadines that people love?
