General Hospital Spoilers: Ric Fakes Paralysis To Drive A Wedge Between Lucky And Elizabeth

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are headed down a dangerous collision course, and could be the victims of a devastating car crash.

If this is the case, there is no doubt that one or both parties might suffer from injuries. This could lead to a crucial turning point for Elizabeth and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) as the results of the accident could drive a wedge between them, courtesy of Rick.

Ric Lansing Makes His Injuries Out To Be More Serious Than They Actually Are

After the accident, Ric could be injured below the waist, but one of the doctors at General Hospital, perhaps Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) would tell him that he is temporarily paralyzed, and there is a good chance that he will walk again.

Ric decides to use this to get sympathy from Elizabeth, who was only mildly injured. He would play on her sympathies, and manipulate her into taking care of him. He would ask her if he could stay with her for a while. Elizabeth, who would feel guilty, would agree. Lucky, of course, would not take the news well at all.

Ric Lansing Moves In With Elizabeth Baldwin

After being released from the hospital, Ric would move in with Elizabeth, and Lucky would not be pleased. He would move out, and tell Elizabeth that three is a crowd.

Ric and Lucky would definitely bicker, and Ric could try to make Lucky look bad in front of Elizabeth. This would fit Ric’s plans perfectly as he fully intends to use his condition to come between Elizabeth and Lucky.

Lucky Spencer Becomes Convinced That Ric Lansing Is Faking

After some time, Ric would eventually regain being able to walk, but fake paralysis to keep Elizabeth close. He would tell Elizabeth that he still hasn’t regained his ability to walk and that he still needs her.

However, Lucky would start to become suspicious that Ric is not being completely honest about his condition. In addition, Ric would often gloat about how close he and Elizabeth have been getting, and it would enrage Lucky. Lucky would put his sleuthing skills to good use, and try to get the goods on Ric.

Lucky Spencer Discovers The Truth

Lucky could easily spy on Ric, and wait for him to start walking and snap a video or photo to prove to Elizabeth that he is faking. He would just need to wait for the right time, as Ric is bound to want to get up when he thinks that he is alone.

Once Lucky has the ammunition that he needs, he would expose Ric. Elizabeth would be livid about his lies, and throw him out of her house!
