General Hospital Spoilers: Jack’s Swift Action Leaves Carly with More Questions Than Answers
General Hospital Spoilers suggest WSB Chief Jack Brennan (Chris Mckenna) is sharp as a tack. He’ll see red flags waving from a mile away as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) continues to haphazardly engage in whatever this new relationship is they’ve got going.
He sure knew how to make her come crawling back. This week, we’ll see him swat a glass of champagne right out of her hands, knowing — somehow — that it can’t be trusted.
Bubbly that he didn’t order? No thanks. Of course, Jack knows that he’s got plenty of enemies out there. He’s constantly baiting them, after all.
But will he trace this one instance of trickery back to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)?
General Hospital Spoilers — “Carly, Don’t!”
The week ahead kicks off with a bottle of the best French champagne — and perhaps Jack didn’t order it. Either way, he’s going to be alarmed that she would dare to dabble in it.
Every bit of Jack’s life is a risk, and he looks outward at the world with a far more skeptical lens than Carly does.
She’s going to have to adapt to his environment if she’s going to stay safe, and he may come to quickly doubt her ability to do that.
GH Spoilers Say It’s a Spy’s Life for Thee
If Carly is going to be on Jack’s arm, she’ll have to reacclimate herself to the reality of living under the threat of harm at every moment.
Will she need a fleet of security traveling with her everywhere she goes soon? Is Jack going to move hell and Earth to protect her from becoming a casualty just because of his interest in her, or will he sideline his interest in her altogether to keep her safe? It looks like this new couple might have to have a serious discussion about what they’re both willing to endure for the sake of being together.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Secrets Pile Up
It’s not likely that Jack will toss Carly out of his life over this champagne fiasco, but he might tighten down any loose ends with his security team.
He doesn’t want to lose her, but it remains to be seen whether his reasons for that are truly altruistic. If the long game he’s playing is to use Carly as an asset, then he can’t risk her becoming his collateral damage.
At the same time, he’s secretly propping up Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) to become the next best WSB agent.
When Joss returns seeming like a different person, how will Jack manage Carly’s concerns about her daughter, especially if she picks up on his tendency to dismiss them? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
