General Hospital Alum Donna Mills Shocks Fans With Role

Donna Mills surprised fans with some interesting news this week. The General Hospital alum, who played Madeline Reeves, Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) mom, from 2014 to 2015 (and 2018), recently revealed on social media that she had a guest-starring role on the ABC primetime hit, Doctor Odyssey. Doctor Odyssey has a theme every week, and this Thursday’s show has been dubbed “Sophisticated Ladies Week”. Mills joins country singing legend Shania Twain as she reprises her

Heather role on the show.

Twain first appeared in the drama during Episode 2, where the theme was “Singles Week”. During that show, Heather was introduced to fans as a widow apprehensive about dating again. Her daughter encouraged her to give it a go, so she did.

Twain’s character, Heather, instantly connected with Don Johnson’s character, Captain Robert Massey, and the two bonded over losing their spouses. Heather made a promise that she’d return to the ship, and now it looks like she’s making good on that vow.

Heather’s Not Coming Back Alone

Heather will be joined by Donna Mills’ character, who seems to fancy Joshua Jackson’s character, Dr. Max Bankman. The two are shown dancing in the trailer that Mills posted on her Instagram account. The Knots Landing star asks Jackson, “Are you attracted to me” as the good doctor replies with a smile, “I should be so lucky.”

The trailer also shows former Charlie’s Angel, Jaclyn Smith, so it looks like she’ll be joining in on the fun, as well.

Mills writes in the IG caption, “The trailer just dropped for my episode of Dr. Odyssey. Airing this Thursday night on ABC. #drodyssey#sophisticatedladies”

Mills’ guest appearance on Dr. Odyssey takes place this Thursday, March 27, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. From the looks of the promo video, it looks like it’ll be a solid show.
